Dear All, Here I'm posting how to do facial by yourself at home.
Facial Process: (Time allotment - 45 mins.)
1. Cleansing process - 10 mins. 2. Scrub - 2 mins. 3. Massage - 10 or 20 mins. (10 for young skin and 20 for matured skin) 4. cleanse - 3 mins. 5. steaming - 1 min. 6. Toning - 1 min. 7. face pack -10 or 20 mins. (10 for young skin and 20 for matured skin)
Method: Do the Cleansing process. ( refer the thread about cleansing) scrub - use circular massage (mild). Dont use scrub around neck and eyes. And also for acne skin, it should not be used. Massage - This one is little bigger. so you can do cleansing massage itself. For dry skin, use cleansing cream. For normal and oily skin, use cleansing lotion. For problematic acne skin, use deep cleansing milk. For dehydrated skin, aloe vera gel can be used. For sensitive skin, Mild cream or lotions. Clean and wipe the face with water. Then go for steaming. If You have white heads, you can remove it. Toning - use rose water. Face pack - Apply any face pack that sits your skin. And dab a cotton swab dipped in rose water and place it on your eyes and relax. Clean your face and apply moisturiser and sun screen. If you dont wish to use chemicals, then you can try this:
1. For Scrub - Use wheat husk with milk. 2. For massage - You can use fresh cream or milk or aloevera gel. 3. Face pack: For normal skin - gram flour + milk For oily skin - honey + lemon juice. (or) Besan + Curd. For dry skin - Milk powder + Gram flour + rose water. Place a cucumber piece on your eyes instead of rose water. __________________
